Robin Sharma once said “Words can inspire and words can destroy choose yours well”.
Much too often people all over the world have quoted about many things and our passion of wildlife has not been neglected.
Words that called for restraint on our behavior towards Mother Nature, its magnificent beauty, awareness and conservation aims.
Many of us whether caring or not caring about the effects of climate change, do miss the bigger picture. As we commemorate the Wildlife day, lets remember that whatever our beliefs, Mother Nature was here before us.
God created man after all the rest of the world had been put in place, and scientifically the world survived the big bang and man just evolved.
In both cases it shows our insignificance in all contexts as our main role is to take care of Mother Nature. If Mother Nature was to speak, what would it say? Here’s is what Conservation International thought it would say
Some call me Nature, others call me Mother Nature
I’ve been here for over four and a half billion years
Twenty-two thousand five hundred times longer than you
I don’t really need people but people need me
Yes, your future depends on me
When I thrive, you thrive
When I falter, you falter or worse (?)
But I’ve been here for aeons
I have fed species greater than you, and
I have starved species greater than you
My oceans, my soil, my flowing streams, my forests,
They all can take you or leave you
How you chose to live each day whether you regard or
disregard me doesn’t really matter to me
One way or the other your actions will determine your fate not mine
I am nature
I will go on
I am prepared to evolve
Are you?”

If future generations are to remember us with gratitude rather than contempt, we must leave them something more than the miracles of technology.
We must leave them a glimpse of the world as it was in the beginning, not just after we got through with it.”
We must not only protect the country side and save it from destruction, we must restore what has been destroyed and salvage the beauty and charm of our cities … Once our natural splendor is destroyed, it can never be recaptured. And once man can no longer walk with beauty or wonder at nature, his spirit will wither and his sustenance be wasted.”
– Lyndon B. Johnson
