The famous world franchise – the Hilton Hotel Rwanda is now set to serve travelers on a safari in Rwanda or gorilla safaris in Rwanda after taking over Ubumwe Grande Hotel in downtown Kigali.
The facility will be run under the Double Tree by the Hilton brand to join a range of other global brands already thriving in Rwanda including; Park Inn, Radisson Blu, Serena Hotel, Golden Tulip and the Marriot and Serena Hotel. These now present a wider selection for the world travellers on Rwanda gorilla safaris and tours.
The Ubumwe Grande Hotel noted to have opened up in September last year features a range of 134 guest rooms along with 19 Apartments.
Hilton intends to transit this facility after it takes it over early next year so as to match its multinational brand.
The acquired property is under the ownership of a range of investors including Uganda’s Mukwano Group, Nepalese businessman Binod Chaudhary and a local businessman Robert Bapfakurera.
The diverse expertise brought in by these range of individuals is believed to derive a credible service that will eventually lead to lasting memories among the Rwanda tour undertakers.
Hilton Hotel brand apparently operates Nineteen (19) hotel chains in the Sub-Saharan Africa while other twenty nine (29) are in the process of establishment. The brand has thrived on the African continent for the last fifty (50) years.
The hospitality sector of Rwanda has been on the rise invigorating a range of mid and high end facility investments.
The home to the critically endangered Mountain Gorillas, the gorilla safaris in Rwanda play a substantive role in stimulating such investments.
