We’re often asked ‘can I get a visa on arrival in Rwanda?’ The answer is that citizens of all countries including visitors on Rwanda safaris or Rwanda safari tours will be granted a 30-days single entry visa on arrival without prior application.
All visitors must hold a passport valid for at least six months with at least one empty page.
Countries Exempt From Paying For Rwanda Visa On Arrival
Citizens of countries members of the following international organizations; African Union, Commonwealth, and La Francophonie get a visa upon arrival and are waived visa fees for a stay of 30 days. These include:-

The following countries are to be granted 90 days of valid free Rwanda Visa When They Arrive At Airport or Rwanda Borders.

Citizens Of Countries That Do Not Pay For Entry Rwanda Visas On Arrival (Rwanda Visa Free) While Traveling On Diplomatic And Service/Official Passports.
The following countries have entered into Visa Waiver Agreement or made unilateral decisions to allow holders of Diplomatic and Service/Official Passports to enter without visa requirements – including paying for visa fees: The visa will be valid for 90 days.
Note: Citizens of all countries will be granted 30-Days single entry visas on arrival without prior application. Citizens of countries not listed below can still get a visa upon arrival without prior application and will pay a prescribed visa fee.
