Day 2: Morning Gorilla Trekking & Evening Walking Tour to The Beautiful Twin Lakes
After a 6 am breakfast, transfer to the park offices to meet your local park rangers and guides for a gorilla trekking briefing. At 8 am, begin your unforgettable trek deep into the jungle through volcano forests with an expert guide to search for the giant Mountain Gorilla. Trackers leave before the tourist groups to locate the gorilla groups, so your guide will know where to take you.
In wet and muddy conditions, the trek can be tiring as you hike through dense vegetation and climb to the base of the Virunga Volcanoes, where the gorilla families are found.
